French Ligue 1 outfit Olympique Lyonnais has officially announced the acquisition of Ghanaian wonder-kid Ernest Nuamah, bolstering their ranks with an infusion of young talent.

Hailing from the bustling city of Kumasi and born in October 2003, Nuamah brings his undeniable skills to the forefront as he joins the esteemed French giants.

The versatile winger arrives at Lyon on a season-long loan deal from Belgian Jupiler Pro League side R.W.D.M. with both clubs owned by American businessman John Textor.

Throughout the ongoing transfer window, Ernest Nuamah's potential drew significant interest from major European clubs, ultimately culminating in his resounding choice to embrace Eagle Football's encompassing vision and objectives.

Having honed his talents at the revered Ghanaian football academy "Right to Dream," the dynamic young international striker, standing at 1.78 meters, boasts the remarkable ability to assume multiple offensive positions on the field.

Nuamah's character, determination, and versatility shone brightly upon his arrival at Lyon, underscoring his commitment to contribute meaningfully to OL's aspirations for the upcoming season.

Nuamah's football journey has included a spell at Danish first-division club Nordsjaelland, commencing in January 2022.

The previous season witnessed Nuamah's ascent, securing two notable awards in  Denmark as he won the coveted title of Best Player of the Season and the crown of Top Scorer in the Danish championship, marked by an impressive tally of 12 goals in 30 matches with 4 assists.

With this acquisition, Nuamah enters a lineage of distinguished Ghanaian footballers who have played for  Lyon, joining the esteemed ranks of Michaël Essien, his assistant coach at Nordsjaelland, Abedi Pele, and John Mensah.
