Aduana Stars burst the Hearts of Oak bubble as they handed them a narrow 1-0 defeat at the Nana Agyeman BaduII Park in their match day 20 Ghana Premier League clash.

A first half goal from former Kotoko player Sam Adams was enough as the phobians could not muster an eequalizer.

The visitors Hearts of Oak started the game in a dominant fashion and nearly broke the deadlock with a corner from former Aduana Stars defender Caleb Amankwaah.

Gladson Awako and Obeng Junior wasted good chances that came their way in the opening ten minutes of the game.

On the 32nd minute Hearts goalkeeper Richard Attah felt his groin and was taken off with Richmond Ayi his replacement.

The home side took over and dominated proceedings from there on and took the lead late on in the game as Sam Adams slotted home to make it 1-0 Aduana Stars.

After recess Aduana Stars nearly doubled the lead with the second goal as Abdul Manan Mudasiru' strike in the 62nd minute hit the post and bounced wide.

Yahaya Mohammed came on late and nearly added the second but Richmond Ayi in post for Hearts saved the situation.

Hearts were unable to equalize as Aduana Stars made it four wins on the bounce to keep the pressure on Asante Kotoko who lead the league table.
