Ghana suffered a 4-0 defeat to the United States of America in an international friendly at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Black Stars, looking to rebound from their previous loss to Mexico, conceded four first-half goals in Nashville.

Gio Reyna opened the scoring in the 10th minute with a rebounded shot after a weak clearance from Nicholas Opoku.

Captain Christian Pulisic made it 2-0 in the 19th minute from the penalty spot after being fouled in the box. Folarin Balogun and Gio Reyna added to the scoreline to complete the win for the USA.

In the second half, Ghana made several substitutions in an attempt to fight back, but the United States held on to secure the victory.

Manaf Nurudeen, the Belgium-based goalkeeper who replaced Lawrence Ati-Zigi, made several crucial saves to prevent further goals.
