Ghana Premier League nem boys Nsoatreman FC defeated Bibiani Gold Stars 1-0 in their maiden game in the elite division on Friday afternoon at the Nana Konamansah Park in Nsoatre.

Nsoatreman booked qualification from the Division One League Zone Two and had to wait until match day two before playing their first match as their league opener against Kotoko was postponed due to the latter's commitment in Africa.

The home side started the match on the front foot but they were unable to capitalize on the numerous chances that came their way.

There were no goals in the first half as both teams could not find the back of the net but that quickly changed in the second half as Samuel Ofori converted from the spot in the 68th minute to hand his side all three points.

After conceding the goal Gold Stars upped the ante but they could not find the equalizer as they lose their second match of the season.
