Ghanaian attacker Ibrahim Sadiq delivered a standout performance, scoring a brace that propelled BK Hacken to secure a spot in the 2023/24 UEFA Europa League group stage with a resounding 3-1 away victory over Aberdeen FC.

BK Hacken successfully secured qualification to the Europa League group stage with a 5-4 aggregate scoreline, building on the foundation of a 2-2 draw in the first-leg encounter at the Boraas Arena the previous week.

The 23-year-old talent initiated the scoring barrage for BK Hacken, finding the back of the net in the 14th minute with an expertly executed strike that eluded goalkeeper Kelle Roos.

Sadiq wasn't done yet. Just before halftime, he doubled his tally, extending BK Hacken's lead to 2-0 as the first half concluded at the Pittodrie Stadium.

Following the break, North Macedonian striker Bojan Miosvki managed to pull one back for the home side, successfully converting a penalty kick.

However, BK Hacken was determined to maintain their two-goal advantage, and this was exemplified by Tunisia international forward Amor Layouni, who added to the scoreline from the penalty spot in the 81st minute.

Sadiq's stellar performance on the field aligns with his overall form this season, having netted an impressive 20 goals in 24 appearances across all competitions for BK Hacken.

His contributions to the club's campaign extend to the UEFA Europa League qualifiers as well, where he has scored five goals in four matches during the 2023/24 season.

Sadiq's prowess and consistency serve as a vital asset to BK Hacken as they progress further into the Europa League stage.
