Two of Ghana's loved female entertainers, Actress Yvonne Nelson and songstress Efya, yesterday surprised Ghana's First Lady, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo.
Mrs. Akufo-Addo who turned 67 yesterday March 12 was surprised with a birthday cake and a range of other gifts as part of her birthday celebrations.
In a video shared on the popular actress's Instagram page, Yvonne Nelson, along with other members of the Vitamilk Girl Talk Hangout paid a surprise visit to the First Lady's residence in order to celebrate her on her 67th birthday.
A birthday cake and a song wasn't all the group of celebrities had to offer, as they brought with them a series of gifts that included a portrait of the First Lady, boxes of goodies from Vitamilk, along with a new bottled drink made of honey and herbs.
But perhaps their most significant present to the first lady was their pledge to support the First Lady's well known initiative to provide better healthcare for mothers and babies with an incubator.
For her part, the First Lady thanked the group for the visit and gifts. She noted that Yvonne Nelson paid her a visit on her birthday last year in 2017, and promised to return her a visit "one of these days."
