During the club’s 6th annual general meeting, Hearts of Oak's Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV, revealed that the club had invested GHC22 million into its infrastructure development by the end of 2023.

Updating shareholders on the progress of ongoing infrastructure projects at Kpobiman, Togbe Afede XIV outlined the accomplishments of the first phase of the Pobiman project.

"The first phase of the Hearts Africa Sports Academy at Pobiman is about 80% complete.

This phase includes executive apartments, dormitories, administrative and classroom blocks, a kitchen and dining block, gym, laundry, and changing/shower blocks, as well as four football pitches, and tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts," he stated.

He further detailed plans for the second phase, which includes the construction of an 80-room hotel, additional changing/shower facilities, and stands to complete the 6,000 capacity mini stadium at Kpobiman.

Moreover, Togbe Afede XIV provided an update on the renovation of the club’s former secretariat, known as “Phobia House”.

"The old secretariat, 'Phobia House,' was demolished in May 2022 to make room for a modern headquarters building. This structure is approximately 95% complete as of the time of this report," he revealed.

"With about GHC9 million invested so far, a portion of this modern building will be leased out to generate revenue," he added, highlighting the club's commitment to enhancing its facilities and operations.
