Ghanaian business mogul, Nana Kwabena Kobo, popularly known as Nana Kobo, has appeared on TalkLife TV to discussed his romantic journey with his wife, Sarah Kobo.

He revealed to Nana Yaa Konadu, the host of TalkLife program that he did some background investigation on his wife before they got married.

The wealthy businessman admitted that, before he made the decision to settle down with Sarah, he visited her hometown and spoke with some residents in a "wee" base and a drinking bar to learn more about her.

After visiting Sarah's family home and conversing with her mother, Nana Kobo narrated that he requested their approval to go for a walk outside.

According to him, he quickly walked to a nearby drinking spot and inquired about the house he wishes to marry from.

He said that the community guys he encountered at the drinking bar revealed to him every secret he required, and that he was then escorted by the guys to a weed smoking base, where he further inquired about the character of the woman he desired to marry.

When asked why he did, he stated that he had a failed marriage and that an elderly man had advised him that if he wanted to marry again, he should make contacts in the birthplace of the woman to know her well before marrying her.

He stated that in order to avoid making the same mistakes, he decided to conduct some background checks on his second wife before settling down with her.

He revealed that the trip to the lady's hometown to investigate about her, was the last test he put Sarah through, as he had tested her on multiple occasions but she passed all of them, making him realize she was the woman he could spend the rest of his life with.

"I was dating two women at the same time. I tested the first one, and she failed. So I tried the second one to see whether she would also fail, but she passed every test I gave her.

"The first lady told me in the face that she cannot wash my clothes, but this lady came to wash for me and cleaned my room all the time, she even woke up in the night to pray for," Nana Kobo disclosed in portions of his narration.

He advised young men who are thinking about getting married to go to the hometowns of their prospective spouses to get to know them better, as in his opinion, the kind of families that men choose their women from could lead to troubles in their marriages.
