Sammy Anim Addo, the chairman of Young Apostles FC, has commended the Ghana squad that participated in the recently concluded UEFA U16 International Development Tournament in Russia.

Under the guidance of coach Laryea Kingston, the team showcased tremendous potential despite missing out on the final.

They bounced back admirably after an initial setback, defeating Serbia and Kazakhstan convincingly with scores of 5-1.

Addo expressed his pride in the team's performance through a post on his official X account, encouraging the players to maintain their focus and dedication.

The UEFA U16 Tournament provided essential preparation for the team ahead of the upcoming WAFU Zone B U17 Championship, which Ghana will host from May 15th to 28th, 2024.
