Manager of musician Ebony has expressed his disappointment over Zylofone Media's action of negotiating an exit from her contract without the knowledge of her management team.
Bullet has been angered by claims by Chief Executive Officer of Zylofon Media that Ebony was unhappy with her managers and was angling for a move away from her label.
Ebony died in an accident at Nyamebekyere near Mankranso in the Ahafo Ano South, a district in the Ashanti Region on Thursday.
Her black Jeep vehicle collided head-on with a VIP bus from the opposite direction and in a tribute to the musician Mensah said he was in talks for her to leave her manager.
In a tweet expressing his condolences to Ebony, Mensah said the artiste cried for a “bailout from him” and that there was the need for critical attention to be paid to Female artistes in Ghana.
While praising the Zylofon boss for his foray into the music industry, Bullet said it was opportunistic of “those people” to take advantage of the naive songstress.
“Ebony will never have bad-mouthed me anywhere. She will never do that," Bullet told a local radio station.
“They only tried to take advantage of the naivety of my innocent Queen.
“They will just paint flashy images for people under this circumstances to destabilize her loyalty to her Record… the Ebony I know will not do that.”
The Chief Executive Officer of Zylofon Media in a tweet expressing his condolences to Ebony said the artiste cried for a “bailout from him” and that there was the need for critical attention to be paid to Female artistes in Ghana.
His tweet sparked several debates and courted insults on social media because people thought the timing was wrong and the wording of the tweet was needless.
Nana Appiah Mensah, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zylofon Media has spoken on his stance of the criticisms he is facing on social media for his comments.
However, Ghanaians have attacked him for revealing conversations he had had confidentially with the dancehall diva prior to her sadden death on Thursday February 8 2018.
Mr Mensah had posted earlier that Ebony was in a hurry to join him at the Zylofon mdeia from the Ruff Town records where she had been from 2015 before she got involved in the gory car accident that caused her death.
He stated that Ebony on a phone call with him, while he was in London, told him about her desire to join the growing Media vrand he is heading.
Upon his arrival in the country, he and the "Maame Hwe" hitmaker reached an agreement and had said he planned on signing her to the Zylofon Media this week.
Saying this, he also said he was ready to pay off Ruff Town records for the dancehall diva.
