Deputy auditor general in charge of central government audit, Mr George Winful has disclosed that some Oil Marketing Companies (OMC) owe government large sums of monies as taxes.

According to the deputy auditor general ten OMC’s owe the govermnet in taxes alone.

The biggest among them is state owned Ghana Oil Company (GOIL) who owe a staggering GH 28 million with Radiance Petroleum second owing GH 3.7million in taxes relating to duties and levies.

Tel Energy also owe GH 1.3million then comes Star oil, Klee oil, Hills oil,Sol Energy, Nasona and Agapet in that order.

The above listed companies owe the state huge amounts in taxes and levies.

This was disclosed at a symposium with the media on Thursday August 8th,2019.
