Following the outcry of Ghanaians for under fire Grant to call the local based players into the senior national team, there are strong indications that players from the Ghana premier league will not make Black Stars coach, Avram Grant’s final squad to face Egypt in next month’s Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier.

The Israeli trainer, who returned to his base in Europe to monitor Ghanaian descent abroad after Black Stars drew 1-1 against the Bafana Bafana of south africa in a FIFA international friendly played in Durban, was accused of being on london TV doing punditry on the English Premier League when he should have been at the Draw of the 2017 African Cup of Nations in Libreville, Gabon.

Black Stars will visit the Pharaohs in Alexandria on the 13th of November in continuation of the qualifying series for the World Cup.

Two players from GhPL were called for observation in the last qualifier game against Cranes of Uganda, none of them featured in Grant's 23- man squad.

“The players from the domestic league are likely to be left out of the Egypt match because the season is over and the coach cannot vouch for their fitness,” a top source informed Ghanaguardian.com.

“He would rather use experienced players because the game in Egypt can decide Ghana's qualification to Russia 2018 World Cup.”

Deputy Black Stars skipper Andre Ayew (Westham), Kwadwo Asamoah (Juventus) and Jonathan Mensah (FC Anzhi Makhachkala) are set to return to the Black Stars squad after they were ruled out by injury for the Uganda game.

Egypt top the qualifying group with three points, while Ghana and Uganda are on a point each after the goalless draw in Tamale.

Congo is bottom and pointless in group E.
