The main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has appointment Moses Mabengba and Kofi Attor as its national vice-chairmen.

The newly appointed chairmen were sworn into office on Tuesday, August 6 2019, during a Functional Executive Meeting of the main opposition party.

A statement signed by Kakra Essamuah, Director of Communications for the NDC said: “At its weekly Functional Executive Committee meeting today 6th August, 2019, the National Democratic Congress swore in the Hon Moses Mabengba as the other Vice-Chairman of the party.

“In the new Guidelines developed by the party for the appointment and election of national officers, the NDC has provided that the positions of National Vice-Chairpersons must have three elected officers and two appointed officers.

“Mr Kofi Attor, an indigene of the Volta Region, was also earlier sworn in by the National Chairman as a National Vice-Chairman.”
