Former Black Stars goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim has offered words of support and admiration for fellow shot-stopper Benjamin Asare, saying he would rather pray for him than attempt to offer advice.

‎Speaking on Akoma FM, Danlad acknowledged Asare’s seniority and experience, stressing that it would not be appropriate for him to step into an advisory role.

‎“Benjamin Asare is my senior, so it wouldn't be right for me to advise him,” he said. “I can only seek God's luck, favour, and strength for him to protect him from any disgrace or injuries.”

‎Danlad went on to praise Asare’s professionalism, highlighting his conduct both on and off the pitch as exemplary.

‎“I really admire his conduct both on and off the pitch, and I pray that he performs exceptionally well for Ghana in the tournament,” he added.

‎The comments reflect the unity often seen within Ghana’s goalkeeping ranks, where competition for places is balanced with mutual respect and camaraderie.

‎As Ghana prepares for its upcoming international assignment, Asare is expected to play a key role, and Danlad’s public show of support underscores the belief within the football fraternity that experience and composure will be vital to the team’s success.
