The Ghana Education Service has released new dates for the re-opening of form three students in various Senior high schools in the country.

Originally all Senior High Schools were to re-open in the month of September but the service has decided to bring forward the opening date for the form threes.

Just yesterday it was announced by the director general, Prof. Opoku Amankwa that re-opening for SHS 3 had been slated for 19th August,2019 with dates for the others to follow.

But in a press statement, it has announced that forms three will head to school on 25th August,2019.

"At a joint meeting of stakeholders involving management of Ghana Education Service (GES), Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools (CHASS),Association of Principals of Technical education sector it was concluded that the re-opening of schools for SHS 3 on the 19th August,2019 be shifted to 25th August, 2019"

It adds that the shift is to enable parents, students, TEWU and every other stakeholder prepare adequately before classes starts on Monday 26th August,2019.
