1. Born in Foios, Valencia, Ferran Torres joined the club's youth ranks at the age of 6 and is a lifelong Valencia CF fan. He is also a Spanish youth international, and won the UEFA European Under-17 Championships back in 2017.
2. He only celebrates his birthday once every four years given that he was born on a leap year - 29 February 2000.
3. On 16 December 2017, he became the first player born in the 21st century to play in LaLiga Santander when he made his debut against SD Eibar. His goal against RC Celta makes him the second 2000-born player to score in the competition after Vinicius Jr.
4. An attacking midfielder, Ferran cites teammate Goncalo Guedes as the player he models his game on. The two draw many parallels in their playing styles, both powerful dribblers with the ability to find a pass. His childhood idol is David Villa, although he had the name of LaLiga ambassador Gaizka Mendieta on his first Valencia shirt.
