AFCON 2021: Hawa Tombo in tears as husband Musah Tombo departs Sierra Leone for Cameroon

There was drama in full motion in Sierra Leone as their 28 man squad departed the national capital Free Town for Doula-Cameroon for the African Cup of Nations.

Musah Tombo wife created a scene when the team was about to depart as he went down on her needs sobbing whiles touching the feet of his husband and apparently praying for him.

The pair recently got married after years of courtship in a grand wedding ceremony in Sierra Leone which was well attended by the football community.

They have since become an internet sensation with the woman kneeling in front of his husband whiles the footballer husband tries to lift her up as she sobs uncontrollably.

Born Musa Noah Kamara, the 21 year old striker currently plays for Sierra Leonean side Bo Rangers, a team he recently joined after  a short stint in Sweden with club Trelleborgs FF.

The striker played for East End Lions before joining Bo Rangers, with 2019 his best season after bagging 15 goals in the Sierra Leone Premier League making him one of the outstanding players of the league.
