Business magnate and publisher of the Ovation Magazine, Chief Dele Momodu has revealed that some other countries are envious of Ghana’s President John Dramani Mahama.

He believes it is the wish of those countries to have him as their leader considering his phenomenal development he has given to Ghanaians under his stewardship as president of the country.

“Africans give him a standing ovation as a proud son of the country…….he is praised outside the country but sadly vilified at home when others are yearning to have a person like him to solve their problems”, he revealed on the Ultimate Breakfast Show hosted by Lantam Papanko.

According to him, president Mahama could be described as one of the best things to have happened to the country maintaining that he is globally recognized as one of the best leaders in Africa and therefore appropriate for the ovation’s magazine to have seen and recognized his good works.

Chief Dele Momodu is worried some persons have subjected him to all forms of verbal abuses after he featured the president in the latest edition of his magazine; revealing that he has for two decades been doing it in other countries.

“I did it with President Kufuor and Alhaji Aliu Mahama and was never called names but why is it that in the case of President John Dramani Mahama I am being verbally abused “, he quizzed.

He states that he has not insulted anyone in his publications but except to put out images of developmental projects embarked on by the current president he reiterated is one of Africa’s best.

“People are praising the magazine because it is promoting the interest of Africa…… I am not interested in politics but development and can say Ghana is one of the most successful countries in Africa and we must applaud it. We have not doctored the pictures, they are factual and there for verification”, he explained.
