The Agyeman-Rawlings family has paid a condolence visit to former PNDC member Joseph Nunoo-Mensah following the death of his wife, Margaret Nunoo-Mensah.
The delegation was led by the Member of Parliament for Klottey Korle, Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, and included Yaa Asantewaa Agyeman-Rawlings and Amina Agyeman-Rawlings.
During the visit, Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings emphasised that the gesture reflected the deep-rooted relationship between the two families, built over decades through their parents.
“We are here because we understand the true value of friendship. Relationships matter,” she said, offering condolences to the bereaved family.
General Nunoo-Mensah expressed appreciation for the visit, describing it as a source of comfort during a difficult period. He also reflected on his long-standing association with the late former President Jerry John Rawlings, recalling their years of collaboration.
Margaret Nunoo-Mensah, who passed away in February, had been married to the retired General since August 1968.
The visit highlights the enduring bond between the Nunoo-Mensah and Rawlings families, rooted in Ghana’s political and military history.
