Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has vowed the Black Stars will silence critics ahead of their crucial 2018 World Cup qualifier against Egypt on Sunday.
The 25-year-old knows defeat would seal a disastrous campaign and make a mockery of their stated ambition of qualifying to their fourth successive World Cup berth.

The West Africans have come under mounting pressure to deliver another World Cup berth following their 0-0 stalemate against Uganda in their opening match.

The apathy has grown towards the team since the country's wrecked 2014 World Cup campaign.

But Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu says they have grown sick of having their shortcomings pointed out to them and are fired up to silence the boo boys.

“We are aware of the expectation of Ghanaians. We have no injuries in camp and whatever be the case I believe by the grace of God we’ll not disgrace Ghanaians," he said

“We’re poised for Sunday’s action, we shall do whatever it takes to get all three points in Egypt.

“We are ever-ready for the clash because of the significance of the clash, and we shall prove our critics wrong.”
