Former Asante Kotoko striker Amed Toure has reported the club to FIFA over claims of an unpaid signing on fee reported to be in the region of GH¢ 40,000.

The maverick striker was accused by Kotoko of "gross insubordination and lack of commitment" after his  move to Lebanon fell through.

He refused to train with the side and that pushed management to part ways with him.

Speaking on a Kumasi-based  Angel FM,the Ivorian said  he deserved  the amount after the Porcupine Warriors terminated his contract in January this year.

"Kotoko terminated my contact. I signed two years for Kotoko and they gave me half of the money in the first year, but didn't give the other half which is almost GH¢ 40,000,' he revealed.

"As am talking to you, I have taken the case to FIFA against them. I'm telling you the truth today because they cancelled my contract and didn't give me my money.

"I did that before signing for Bechem, am waiting for the reply from FIFA.'

The striker ealy last season was on the verge of signing for Kotoko's perennial rival Hearts of oak, after featuring for them Accra-based club in a preseason  competition, but was surprisingly hijacked by the Kumasi-based club- a development that further mired the relationship  between the two clubs.

Toure has re-surfaced on the local scene and penned a deal with FA Cup champions Bechem United and is expected to be registered for the club's African competition, should they accept to play in CAF confederations cup.
