Ajax are in contact with Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah about a return to the Johan Cruyff stadium.

According to De Telegraaf, the on-loan with Fulham defender is a target should they sell Mattijs de Ligt for big money at the end of the season.

Ajax chief Marc Overmars has held talks with the defender's agent Mo Sinouh about a return this summer.

Fosu-Mensah left Ajax in 2014 for United at the age of 16.
