Celebrated and veteran female highlife musician, Akosua Akosua has urged upcoming and young artistes in Ghana to keep the highlife music alive.

Speaking to Becky on the E WITH BECKS SHOW, the singer says the current generation should not let highlife die and encourage them to do more to preserve highlife.

“To my young ones, despite the insults don’t let highlife die, there are few things we realize that they are doing to bring back the” she said

She also advised the musicians in the “new school” to take oldies in the entertainment industry.

“Some of the new female musicians will see me and were not friendly and they just pass by”

The singer also said is yet collaborate with musicians in the “new school” such as Wendy shay, Kuami Eugene and Mzvee.

Her first album was, ‘Frema’ which had songs full of inspirational like ‘Me ye Obaa’, ‘Born again’, ‘Anan tuo’, ‘San be hwe wo mba’, among others.
