Defender Andy Yiadom strike against Hull in the English Championship  has been adjudged Reading's Goal of the Month for September.

The Ghanaian's effort against The Tigers on September 22 beat competition from three other goals for the monthly gong.

Liam Moore's effort against Sheffield Wednesday, Sam Baldock's strike against Preston North End and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson's goal against Hull were the other contenders.

Yiadom garnered 38 per cent of votes to emerge the winner.

The 26-year-old has been in good form for Reading since transferring from Barnsley in the summer.
