From being forced to stop wearing hijabs to being prevented form observing prayers on campus, some Christian schools, championed by the Methodists are now preventing Muslim students from fasting.

This latest development has made several Muslims unhappy with the National Chief Imam expected to make a string statement on the matter in the coming days.

The relationship between Muslims and Christians has been a peaceful one until the recent outburst of the Christian leadership in the country towards Muslims with claims that they are the majority, hence will have to dictate the pace for religious adherence regardless of the Constitution of Ghana allowing freedom of worship and of association.
