Multiple award winning South African rapper, Refiloe Maele Phoolo, best known by his stage name, Cassper Nyovest, has accused fans of controversial Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, of threatening him.

The threat according to him comes days after he endorsed Shatta Wale's fiercest rival, Stonebwoy, in his first interview in Ghana and suggesting that he hasn’t heard of any music by Shatta Wale.

Asked in an earlier interview if he had heard of Shatta Wale, The Doc Shebeleza crooner answered “[he] is trouble,” adding “I have read a lot about him…but I don’t know his music yet but everybody says it is lit.”

Reacting to the threat by the SM fans, Cassper who spoke on Hitz FM, asked them to calm down because his comment was meant as a jab at their icon as news headlines have suggested.

Cassper who has already recorded a song with Stonebwoy during his short arrival in Ghana has indicated that he would love to collaborate with Shatta, “...apparently he is huge and its dope to work with the numbers.

If I have to work it out here then I want to mention his name. Apparently, he stirs things and his fans were going at me the whole time and that was lit…” he said.
