Apple March 2019 event is set to begin at 10 am PT, which is 10.30 pm IST in India. It will be all about the brand-new streaming service by Apple that will feature shows, movies, and other content from major production houses and Hollywood stars including Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Aniston, and more. There will also be a magazine subscription for Apple News, a gaming subscription, and a co-branded credit card in association with Goldman Sachs.
The Apple Special Event will be live streamed on a dedicated page on the company website. But, in case, you cannot hold off your excitement, Apple is already streaming a feed from the empty auditorium at Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California. There is a navigation demo going on in the stream, which supposedly pertains to directions to the venue. We’ll be covering the event live in this blog. You can read about how you can watch the live stream in India here.
The streaming service by Apple will take on Netflix, which was earlier approached by the Cupertino-based giant. But, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings refuted any association with Apple for its upcoming streaming platform. Said to cost $9.99 per month, Apple’s streaming service could also let subscribers watch content from HBO and Showtime.
The gaming service, which is also one of the speculations for Apple’s March 25 event, is essentially a subscription bundle for third-party games. It is unlikely to be something like Google Stadia – the newly-launched cloud-based gaming platform by Google. It is expected to be available within the App Store for iOS users.
