Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan was on the score sheet for his side NorthEast United in their Indian Super League game at home.

The Ghanaian International grabbed the equalizer for his side after what appeared to be a looming defeat at home.

Triadis opened the scores for the home side with a 9th minute opener but the home side could not hold onto the lead for much long as the away side pulled parity through Chermiti in the 22nd minute for the away side Fc Mumbai.

Chermiti soon added a second in the 32nd minute for the away side to send the score to 2-1.

Ten minutes later Asamoah Gyan scored the all important equalizer for the home side to send the game to 2-2.

NorthEast United currently lie fourth on the ten team league table.

Gyan has scored three goals in four games for his team in the Indian Super League.
