Asante Kotoko appoint eight-member communications team for match promotions
2nd February 2026
Asante Kotoko have announced the appointment of a new eight-member communications team, a move aimed at strengthening the club’s match promotions and improving engagement with supporters.
In a statement released by the club, management confirmed that the team has been appointed with immediate effect and will work under the direct supervision of Kotoko’s Director of Communications. A key part of their mandate will also include supporting the club’s “Fabu Census” project, which seeks to better understand and connect with the club’s vast fan base.
The newly constituted team brings together media practitioners and creatives expected to sharpen Kotoko’s messaging and enhance the matchday experience for fans both at the stadium and across digital platforms.
Those appointed are Seth Nii Darko, Adu Acheampong, George Forson, Anthony Twum Barima, Kwame Akosa, Prince Sackey Alimoh, Ransford Obeng Marfo and Emmanuel Asiedu.
The appointments come at a time when the Porcupine Warriors are placing renewed emphasis on fan engagement and brand visibility, recognising the growing importance of communication and promotion in modern football.
For one of Ghana’s most decorated clubs, the move signals a fresh push to bring supporters closer to the team not just on the pitch, but in how the club tells its story.
