Ashgold are still livid over the decision by the  Premier League Board (PLB) to reschedule this weekend’s fixture to last Saturday, threatening the league organisers with hell if they fail to compensate them.

The Miners are demanding what would cover their hotel reservations for their logding at the Palm Logde at Dawu or they would deduct it from the share of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) from the gates proceeds anytime they play at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

The PLB, after a meeting attended by 14 representatives of the Premier League clubs, decided to shift the Week 21 fixtures forward to last Saturday to enable all the clubs offer their support to Medeama in their crucial CAF Confederation Cup duel against TP Mazembee.

But the  ‘Soccer Miners’ are unhappy with the decision, particularly coming barely 72 hours before the fixture when their preparations for their game against Dreams FC were settled against Sunday.

In a letter dated August 9, 2016 to the GFA and copied to the chairman of the PLB, signed by Mr Kudjoe Fianoo, CEO of the club, the ‘Aboakese’ lads stated, “We find the last-minute change unacceptable and we wish to inform you about our inability to play the match on Saturday.”

It attached the pay-in slip representing accommodation and feeding for their contingent to back the claim.

Mr Fianoo told the the Graphic Sports yesterday that it honoured the match with the hope  of claiming compensation from the PLB.
