The President of the Badminton Association of Ghana Mr. Evans Yeboah has authorized his solicitors to file a defamatory law suit with immediate effect against Ghanaian based website pulse.com.gh for a false publication.

The website had reported that the President has been remanded by an Accra circuit for failing to show up in court.
Mr. Yeboah denies the false claims contained in the said publication which he suspects to have been planted by his detractors to tarnish his hard earned image and to scandalise the noble sport of badminton.

The website has since pulled down the story, which is now a subject to defamation suit.

The publication comes at a time Mr. Yeboah is recuperating from a minor surgical procedure.

According to Mr. Yeboah, he has been touched by the support he has received from his family, friends, colleague executives and the badminton fraternity during this trying period.

"I hope to provide more updates in due time," Mr Evans Yeboah said.
