Former Ghana youth International Benjamin Tetteh was on the scoresheet for his Turkish Super Lig side Yeni Malatyaspor in the 2-1 win over Ankaragucu on Sunday.

The first half of the game ended goalless as none of the team's was able to break the deadlock in a drab first half with very limited openings as defense triumphed over attack.

Ten minutes into the start of the second half Adem Buyuk gave Yeni Malatyaspor the lead on 55th minute.

The 23 year old Ghanaian striker on loan from Czech side Sparta Praha came on as a 68th minute substitute as replacement for Kubilay Kanatsizkus.

Tetteh grabbed his fifth league goal for his on loan side in the 77th minute and seems to have worked his way into earning a permanent stay with his performance.

He has made 27 appearance for his side in the Turkish Super Lig scoring five goals so far.

Compatriot and team mate Afriyie Acquah was introduced in the 85th minute for Yeni Malatyaspor while Joseph Paintsil grabbed a consolation for his Ankaragucu side late in the game.
