Two Ghanaian players helped their Bulgarian side Ludogorets Razgrad to win their domestic league title on Tuesday night.

Bernard Tekpetey and Elvis Manu played as their team beat Beroe 3-1 to clinch the Bulgarian League title.

The pair were named in the starting eleven as Bernard Tekpetey was withdrawn in the 70th minute for Jordan Ikoko while Manu lasted up till the 60th when Claudia Kaseru replaced him.

Ludogorets scored with goals from Kiril Despodov, Dominik Yankov and Claudiu Keseru to seal the league tile with the host scoring a consolation through Gaius Makouta.


With four games to spare, Ludogorets have now won the Bulgarian league title for ten consecutive times in their history.

Dutch born Ghanaian attacker Elvis Manu joined the Bulgarian giants last in 2020 as a free agent and scored 9 goals while providing 4 assists in 26 matches.

Compatriot Tekpetey who is on loan from relegated Bundesliga side Schalke 04 scored once while providing 8 assists in 31 matches.
