betPawa officials meet GFA President to strengthen partnership for 2024/25 season

On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, officials from betPawa visited Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), to discuss strategies for enhancing their partnership for the 2024/25 season.

Key representatives from betPawa included Ntoudi Mouyelo Katoula, Managing Director for Africa and Chief Commercial Officer, and Nii Armah Ashong-Katai, Regional Manager for Southern and Western Africa.

The meeting aimed to build on previous virtual discussions to finalize initiatives like the Locker Room Bonus for Ghana Premier League players and the extension of benefits to the Women’s FA Cup from the Round of 16 onward, with plans for further expansion in the future.

Another focal point was the next phase of the betPawa pitch development at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence. This phase will include a spectator stand and dressing rooms, further elevating facilities at the center.

President Simeon-Okraku praised betPawa for their dedication and support, which has greatly benefited clubs and the broader Ghanaian football landscape.

Discussions centered on sustaining and expanding this partnership for mutual growth and development in Ghanaian football.

Also present were GFA General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo, Executive Council member Kingsley Osei Bonsu, Upper West Regional Football Association chairman Alhaji Daudi Sadugu Yahaya, and Director of Marketing Jamil Maraby.
