Black Stars reinforced with new call-ups for AFCON qualifier against Niger

With key injuries impacting the Black Stars, Coach Otto Addo has called up Kamaradini Mamudu of Medeama SC, Ebenezer Abban of Heart of Lions, and Jerry Afriyie from Thought FC for the upcoming AFCON qualifier against Niger.

This comes as the team deals with the absence of injured players Alidu Seidu, Gideon Mensah, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, and captain Jordan Ayew.

Player Profiles:
- Kamaradini Mamudu: The right back has been an influential presence for Medeama SC, featuring in 9 Ghana Premier League games (810 minutes), scoring 2 goals, and earning a Man of the Match award.

- Ebenezer Abban: The dependable Heart of Lions defender has accumulated 975 minutes across 11 matches this season, showcasing defensive solidity.

- Jerry Afriyie: A standout at the youth level, Afriyie was a gold medalist at the 2024 African Games and excelled as the best player and top scorer in the WAFU Zone B U-20 Cup of Nations in Togo.

The three new additions will participate in training on Sunday and will be assessed for potential inclusion in Monday's lineup.
