John Antwi reminded everyone of his talents as he scored the match winner for Pyramids against Al-Ittihad A Sakandary in the Egyptian league on Tuesday evening.

He was recently handed a Black Stars call after being overlooked for national team call ups for more than two years now.

The striker who is part of C.K Akonnor's 23 man squad for the friendly game against Mali in Turkey next month.

Going into the game FC Pyramids were beaming with confidence as they had won their last three matches but faced a resistant and rugged defense from Al-Ittihad with the first half ending in a goalless draw.

The Ghanaian broke the deadlock of the game with the only goal and match winner in the 53rd minute after connecting with a header from Ibrahim Hassan.

He has been in good goal scoring form for his side in the Egyptian Premier League becoming the first foreigner to score a hundred goals in Egypt.

It is no surprise his form has gotten him a national team call up after such a long while.

Antwi has scored 9 goals while providing three assists for Pyramids FC in the current season.
