Boris Kodjoe unveiled film Ambassador for Ghana

Boris Frederic Cecil Tay-Natey Ofuatey-Kodjoe, better known as Boris Kodjoe, Austrian-born actor of German and Ghanaian descent has been unveiled as the ambassador of film for Ghana.

Tourism Minister, Catherine Afeku who unveiled Boris Kodjoe as Ghana’s film ambassador to the press, asked the Hollywood star to take up the mantle as Ghana’s Film Ambassador.

Boris expressed his appreciation for the honour to serve Ghana in that capacity saying “I’m honored to be the ambassador for my nation, but to achieve results it must be a team effort by working together”.

Boris Kodjoe, Boris Kodjoe, is known for his roles as Kelby in the 2002 film Brown Sugar, the sports-courier agent Damon Carter on the Showtime drama series Soul Food and was a recurring character on FOX’s The Last Man on Earth.

He currently co-stars on BET’s Real Husbands of Hollywood and on the CBS medical drama Code Black.

Boris has described as “extra special” when he returned with his family to his father’s homeland, Ghana early this yeear.

According to him, he was happy to be back home to partly reconnect with his family in Ghana, as well as let his children experience Ghana for the first time.

“It is extra special for us to be here in Ghana, my father’s birth country. Anytime we are here, we feel at home. The kids are here for the first time and it has been an amazing experience,” Boris said in Accra at the time.
