Former Ebusua Dwarfs coach Ricardo Da Rocha currently leads the race to become the new Asante Kotoko coach, according to local media reports.

The Asante Kotoko coaching job became vacant on Thursday, after Samuel Paa Kwasi Fabin quit his position seven months after he was hired by the Ghana Premier League giants.

Da Rocha could return into the Ghanaian scene after his wonderful era with the Mysterious Club, guiding them to 4th position on the table.

The Brazilian tactician was the head coach of the national team of Cape Verde in 2007 and has also coached Hager Club of Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, other sources have linked former AshantiGold gaffer C.K Akonnor to the Porcupine Warriors hot seat.
