Ghanaguardian.com can exclusively report that leaders of the Ghana-Togo Solidarity movement have been arrested.

The incident  happened around 9:00 am this morning when a gathering at the Kowokudi Park to rally support behind the people of Togo was disrupted by the Police.

The group, who are part of the Ghana-Togo Solidarity movement, were said to be holding a peaceful march to draw the attention of local and international authorities to the political crisis in Togo.

The Chairman of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Bernard Mornah, who happens to be the leader of the group along with International relations and security experts Irbard Ibrahim, were arrested along with several others for staging an illegal protest in Accra.

According to the organizers of the group however, they notified the Police as per protocol within the stipulated five working days .

Bernard Mornah and Irbard Ibrahim along with the others who were arrested are currently been held at Nima Police station.
