Dutch-born Ghanaian youngster Brian Brobbey has been rewarded by coach Erik Ten Hag with a place in the Ajax squad that will face Italian side Atlanta in tonight's Champions League game.

It is no surprise the 18 year old has been listed in the squad to face the Italian side as his performance for the reserve side has been incredible scoring an impressive five goals in eight appearances.

The youngster has been very impressive in the Eerste division for the Ajax reserve side with his performance attracting the admiring glances of several top sides in Europe.

At the U-17 level Brobbey scored 26 goals in 24 games before moving a notch higher to score 37 goals in 41 games at the U-19 level for the Ajax junior sides.

There is no place in the Ajax squad for his injured compatriot Kudus Mohammed who sustained an injury in the one nil loss against Liverpool.
