The Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Alhaji Collins Dauda, was reported to have implored Muslims not to vote for the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) because it is a party that discriminates against them.

Collins Dauda was quoted to have urged a group of NDC supporters in Koforidua in the Eastern Region to massively vote against the NPP come December 7.

Alhaji Dauda asserted that the NPP has a long history of discriminating against people living in Zongo communities and “if you allow the NPP to come to power again, they will exhibit this same character of discrimination.”

His comments however, did not sit well with most Ghanaians and the latest to voice out his disdain over the comment is Broadcaster, Kwame Gyan.
