Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has dismissed the country’s Minister for Power, Eng. Sale Mamman, energynewsafrica.com can report.

It is unclear why President Buhari has relieved Sale Mamman of his post but some insiders believe it may be part of Buhari’s plan to bring in new faces in his administration.

According to a report filed by Peoples Gazette, the Minister of State for Works and Housing Abubakar Aliyu has been asked to act as substantive Minister for Power.

Meanwhile, Goddy Jedy Agba remains the Minister of State for Power.
