Former Ghana Football Association vice-chairman and director of Accra Great Olympics Joseph Ade Coker has joined the growing chorus of persons who are of the view that Black Stars coach C.K Akonnor is undeserving of his $25,000 salary.

Deputy General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Nana Obiri Boahene started it by saying that C.K Akonnor's $25,000 is too huge.

According to Ade Coker, C.K Akonnor is not a world class coach and should not be commanding such huge monthly salary.

He says something must be done about that amount as its outrageous for a coach who has no global appeal.

According to him rewarding a "black coach with white man's  certificate' with huge sums of money is irrational.

" Something should be done about C.K Akunnor's salary. How can you pay a local coach who has acquired foreign certificate $25,000 and besides he is not a world class coach." he  Accra-based Angel FM

The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Ade Coker says its preposterous for the Black Stars coaching to be taking more salary than the President of the land.

Coker was speaking about the 40% pay cut C.K Akonnor has reluctantly agreed to take on his $25,000 salary which is $10,000 less than his predecessor Kwasi Appiah.

Akonnor will play his first official game as Black Stars coach next month in a friendly game with Mali in Turkey.
