Head Coach of Aduana Stars Yusif Abubakar is confident about his side’s chances in their  CAF Confederation Cup clash against Raja Casablanca at the Dormaa Nana Agyemang Badu II Park on Wednesday.

The defending Ghana Premier League champions commenced the continent's second-tier club competition on a stuttering note following their 1-0 defeat against Ivorian giants ASEC Mimosas in Abidjan.

The Fire Boys will seek for redemption when they welcome Moroccan side Raja Casablanca to Dormaa in the second fixture of Group A.

"We need to maintain a good run in the competition, especially in our home games. The fans went home excited the last time we played in the competition here (Dormaa) and that is what we are looking to maintain though I don't see a huge score line like that of Fosa Juniors," Yussif told cafonline.com.

The experienced manager reiterated his disappointment about losing their first group but insists they are better prepared for the upcoming clash.

"I mentioned that we had no business losing that game looking at the chances we managed to create. We have moved on and are fine-tuning our preparations for Raja, a game we know will be tough because they dropped points at home," Yussif pointed out.

"We are not worried. We are only concentrating on getting the job done and picking our first three points, an action that will aid our progression in this competition.”
