Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Samuel Boadu has named his starting eleven that will take on Algerian side JS Soaura in the first leg of the CAF Confederations Cup.

The Hearts gaffer has made four changes to the team that tamely lost 2-0 to AshGold in the Ghana Premier League last week.

Center back James Sewornu replaces Robert Addo Sowah whiles young midfielder Salim Adams has also been preferred to the below par Emmanuel Nettey.

Daniel Afriyie Barnieh who has not been himself this season has also been recalled to the starting line up as replacement for Patrick Razak.

Kofi Kordzi leads the line for Hearts of Oak as usual.

Ghana's sole representative Hearts of Oak have hard a tough start to the Ghana Premier League season having failed to win a match in four games drawing three and losing one as they still search for a win.

Hearts started in the CAF Champions League but dropped down to the CAF Confederations Cup after they were eliminated 6-2 on aggregate by Moroccan side Wydad Athletic Club.

The Ghanaian champions will play against Algerian side JS Souara in the playoff round at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 3pm before the return fixture in the North African country a week later.
