Ghanaian striker Caleb Ekuban wants to sign for Trabzonspor on a permanent deal.

The frontman is currently on loan from Championship side Leeds United and has recently found some form for the Turkish side.

According to reports in Turkey, Trabzonspor president wants Ekuban to remain at the club after praising his attitude.

However, Trabzonspor are not keen on paying the €1 million (£900,000) previously agreed with Leeds.

The 24-year-old has scored five goals in all competitions this season.

The Ghanian admitted to Turkish media Haber 61 that he would accept the signing of the contract as a full Trabzonspor player.

"Coming here (in Turkey) was the best decision in my life. The club wants me to keep me. I intend to stay here, "said the Italian-Genoese footballer.
