Chelsea have rejected Callum Hudson-Odoi’s transfer request and will not let him join Bayern Munich this month.

At least, that’s according to German outlet Bild, who report that the Premier League club are unwilling to let Hudson-Odoi leave during the winter window, but a summer transfer is still possible.

However, the Guardian have issued a conflicting report which states that Chelsea have yet to give any response to the transfer request made by the 18-year-old last week.

Hudson-Odoi scored in the Blues’ 3-0 FA Cup win over Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday and afterwards, he was asked by the BBC whether it would be his last game for the club.

“I don’t know, I can’t say but I’ll just keep working hard and see what happens,” he said.

And when asked if he has spoken to Bayern at all he said: “I can’t say. I haven’t. I haven’t.”

Bayern are believed to be willing to pay as much as €40m for the England under-19 international’s signature.
