The Paramount Chief of Apemanim traditional council in the Assin South Constituency of the Central Region, Barima Kwame Nkyi XII, has endorsed President Mahama for what he describes as unprecedented achievement in his first term as President.

The Gyaasehene of the council, Nana Kwaku Enyima, who spoke on behalf of the Paramount chief, appealed to President Mahama to immediately provide them with buses prior to the elections day to enable them convey people from the hinterland to the polling stations to ensure a landslide victory on December 7 poll.

He lauded the achievements of the NDC in the education sector with the provision of infrastructure for the town.

Nana Kwaku Enyima made this known when Vice President Kwesi Amissah Arthur called on the chief at his palace as part of his tour of the region.

On his part, Mr Amissah Arthur called on the chiefs and people of Assin South not to pay attention to the criticisms of the NPP, insisting that a vote for the largest opposition party would spell doom for the development projects initiated by President Mahama.
