Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu was a standout performer  in the Newcastle United  team despite their 2-0 defeat to Manchester United in the English Premiership on Wednesday night.

Atsu’s pace caused all sorts of problems for the United backline especially in the first half, forcing two decent saves from De Gea.

However Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s second half changes proved to be a master stroke as the Red Devils marched on to four wins from four under their new manager.

Substitute Romelu Lukaku scored with his first touch on 63 minutes, 38 seconds after coming on, before Marcus Rashford wrapped up victory 10 minutes from time.

The victory sees Solskjaer become only the second manager in Manchester United's history to win their first four games in charge, after Sir Matt Busby, and sees sixth-placed United move to within six points of the top four.

Newcastle, who have now won just one of their last eight league games, stay 15th, just two points clear of the relegation zone.
