Former Ghana U-20 Captain Clifford Aboagye was on target to help Atlas FC defeat Lobos BUAP 3-1 at the Estadio Jalisco in the Mexican Liga MX.

Atlas broke the deadlock right before half time through Anderson Santamaria who jumped and scored for La Academia with a beautiful header.

They got a second in the 74th minute when Juan Pablo Vigon hustled a play, stole the ball, and assisted beautifully to Facundo Barcelo, who got past the goalkeeper to score his first goal in the Liga MX.

Aboagye came on as a substitute to add the third with his first touch of the game, an amazing right-footed strike from a weird angle that surprised everyone at the Jalisco.

Lobos found a consolation goal minutes after, with Bryan Rabello, cutting the lead to 3-1.
